Dear Barefoot Church,

The past four years have been adventurous, fulfilling and mind blowing, all at the same time. God has poured out His blessings on our church because we have been faithful with what He has entrusted us with. In 2009, we saw hundreds of salvations at Barefoot Church.

2010 is going to be an even bigger year and yet there is more to be done. Our vision as a church is to Change Lives that Change the World—starting with ten campuses with ten thousand people and a $15 million dollar a year budget. It is an impossible vision to consider fulfilling without moving beyond where we are.

The vision and the direction have been put "In Motion"!

As your Pastor, I am asking you to prayerfully consider becoming a Motion Project Partner, so TOGETHER we can Changes Lives that Change the World.

What is The Motion Project?

The Motion Project is a movement of Barefoot Church asking individuals and families to prayerfully consider to partner and commit to give above and beyond their tithes to the ongoing vision of Barefoot Church.

Is The Motion Project a capital campaign?

No.

What is the purpose of The Motion Project?

To provide resources to fulfill the vision God has given to Barefoot Church, which is to Change Lives that Change the World. At some point, the Motion Project funds will go towards capital improvement or expansion projects, but it will always contain an element of raising finances for external projects that connect with our overall vision.

Is there a level of giving for The Motion Project?

No. All we ask is that your commitment be above and beyond your tithe (10% of your income). The Motion Project is not about equal giving but equal sacrifice.

How are your tithes and offerings used?

We believe in the principle of tithing as outlined in Malachi 3:10. Tithes and Offerings are used to fund the day-to-day operations of the church, as well as, the ministry this church does on a weekly basis.

How does that differ from The Motion Project?

The Motion Project is about funding the ongoing vision of Barefoot Church. (Proverbs 29:18 as outlined in 2nd Corinthians 9:6-8).

What is a Motion Project Partner?

A Motion Project Partner is an individual or family who prayerfully invests above and beyond their normal tithes and offerings to fulfill the vision of Barefoot Church.

After prayerfully considering my commitment to invest in The Motion Project, how do I get "in motion" and take the next step?

Becoming a Motion Project Partner is simple. Fill out a commitment card and then start giving.

What are some vision needs for The Motion Project in 2010?

1. NEW Campus in Whiteville, NC

2. Remodel/upfitting front of church to improve Weekend Cafe Experience year around

3. Impact and support churches in Haiti
