Pastor Clay NeSmith

In June 2003, Pastor Clay NeSmith and his wife Kim answered God’s call to begin a contemporary church in the North Myrtle Beach Area that would connect the unchanging word of God to a rapidly changing culture. The NeSmiths and their son Cole began Barefoot Church out of their living room, along with one other couple. Their core group began to grow and the planning of Barefoot Church has been blessed by God to reach out to hundreds of families in the North Myrtle Beach Area. The church currently has an average weekly attendance on two campuses of over 1300 people. In 2009 we launched our second campus, an internet campus, BarefootChurchLive.com.

Pastor Clay leads with passion, enthusiasm, and creativity to reach the unchurched and to equip people to serve in ministry. Clay is from Thomasville, Georgia and attended Columbia Biblical Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina.
