Love One Another

“So I give you now a new commandment: Love each other just as much as I have loved you. For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re my true followers.”
John 13:34-35 (TPT)

We are a church built on a multi ethnic vision. Diversity in the church is something that we value and hold dear. God has made us each beautiful, unique and in His image. We each represent and display a different part of who God is.

Our team has put together this resource page for anyone who desires to expand their knowledge and understanding on the topic of racial injustice and reconcilliation. We have provided many resources on this page, but we also encourage you to do your own research.

Barefoot Church is opposed to racism. We want to be clear that the intent of this page is to shed light on racism and how it effects all people of color in day to day life. This page is not about politics or pop-culture. We believe this is a battle between the Kingdom of God vs. the Kingdom of Darkness. Our ultimate goal is to point everything back to Jesus, what he’s done for us, and how we can become more like him.

We ask that you reflect on the motives of your own heart and how you might grow personally and spiritually from this learning experience. Our hope is that we can all be a part of racial reconciliation – because God’s kingdom is diverse, multicolored, unified and beautiful. In addition to educating yourself, we ask you to join us in prayer. Pray for peace, pray for the hurting, pray for justice, pray for healing.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:10 (AMP)

Here are some helpful videos that we find to be theologically sound and in alignment with what we believe as Barefoot Church.

We invite you to journey through the Bible and dive deep into personal study. We believe that the Bible is the living Word of God, and it speaks clearly on the importance of being a voice for the hurting.

In addition to personal study and prayer, we have amazing resources available to you through RightNow Media. There are countless Bible-based studies on racism and racial reconciliation available at your fingertips. Log in to your account or get your free subscription to RightNow Media today!
