Serving at Barefoot Church
“…even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO SERVE?
Our Vision is to encourage everyone’s next step toward Jesus Christ, actively serve our community, and help families grow together in faith. We all can be a part of making that vision a reality at Barefoot Church. Serving is an act of obedience to what God is calling us to do in showing love to people and an act of discipleship to serve others in our church and our local and global communities.
We have lots of great areas to serve in and can help you find a volunteer opportunity to complement your interests and talents. Use the buttons below to explore all of our serving areas.
To help create a safe environment for everyone at Barefoot, all volunteers are required to pass a background check. Some volunteer positions have additional requirements and training.

Our children’s ministry is in need of people to help out with children of all ages. Whether it’s newborns, fifth graders, or anything else in between, our Kid’s World volunteers are there to welcome children and teach them about Jesus.
Online Chat Host
We have several hundred people who attend our services online. Our online hosts help welcome people, engage with our online audience, and help them feel like they truly are a part of the Barefoot family.
First impressions matter — and in a digital age, they begin before visitors even walk through our doors. Our photography team plays a vital role in helping us communicate our vision as a church.
Production & Technology
This team operates the cameras, lights, and screens for Sunday services. No prior experience is needed and training will be provided.
Our 6th-12th grade ministry meets every Wednesday night. These young people need godly influences in their lives to teach them how to follow God in a crazy world. Our student ministry volunteers help lead small groups, connect with students and help chaperone trips and events.
